Since qualifying as a solicitor in 2004 Claire has specialised in residential and commercial property transactions as well as private client work. She became a director in 2021.

Catrin qualified as a solicitor in 2016. Before moving to Passmores Solicitors Catrin worked in Cardiff specialising in children matters.

Emily Gammon is a Solicitor in our Family Law department, having completed her Training Contract with us and qualified in August 2025.
Solicitor – Private Client & Conveyancing
Elin qualified as a Solicitor in September 2025 and works within both the Private Client and Conveyancing departments. Elin is a fluent Welsh speaker.
Paralegal – Private Client & Conveyancing
Jack works in both the Private Client and Conveyancing departments. He studied Law at Cardiff University, before completing the Legal Practice Course at Cardiff.

Our story
From a 1920s practice to two offices serving Barry, Cardiff and the Vale.
David Llewellyn Jones establishes the practice from which the firm grew.
Mr Cyril Passmore forms D.C. Passmore & Co in St Mary’s Street, Cardiff.
Becomes Passmore Walters & Hopkins, trading from 132 Holton Road, Barry.
The Barry and Cardiff offices divide by agreement; Barry continues as D.C. Passmore & Co.
Moves to current premises at 21 Tynewydd Road, Barry, opening Monday 10 August 1987.
Merges with L.W. Lewis & Jacobs Solicitors to become Passmores Solicitors.
Becomes a limited company in August.
Celebrates 100 years of serving the people and businesses of South Wales.

We are pleased to be hosting a free information talk today at 10:30 am at Dinas Powys Library and Activity Centre, in partnership with Renew Wellbeing Cymru.
This year, we are proud to celebrate two significant milestones for two of our Directors, Carli Evans and Sally Matthews.
While looking through the archives, we came across a newspaper advertisement announcing the opening of our Tynewydd Road office on 10 August 1987.
