An expert in the financial issues arising on separation or divorce, particularly high net value cases. Sally joined the firm in 1996 and has been a collaborative lawyer since 2010.

A fluent Welsh speaker and member of Solicitors for the Elderly and STEP. Carli qualified in 2006, joined Passmores as a private client solicitor and became a director in 2011.

Specialising in residential and commercial property since qualifying in 2004. Claire joined the firm in 2016 and became a director in 2021.

Our history
From a practice founded in the 1920s to two offices in Barry and Cardiff, a story of continuity, care and community.
David Llewellyn Jones establishes the practice from which the firm grew.
Mr Cyril Passmore forms D.C. Passmore & Co in St Mary's Street, Cardiff.
Becomes Passmore Walters & Hopkins, trading from 132 Holton Road, Barry.
The Barry and Cardiff offices divide by agreement; Barry continues as D.C. Passmore & Co.
Moves to current premises at 21 Tynewydd Road, Barry, opening Monday 10 August 1987.
Merges with L.W. Lewis & Jacobs Solicitors to become Passmores Solicitors.
Becomes a limited company in August.
Celebrates 100 years of serving the people and businesses of South Wales.

Two significant milestones for two of our Directors: Carli Evans celebrates 20 years with Passmores Solicitors, while Sally Matthews marks an incredible 30 years with the firm.
While looking through the archives, we came across a newspaper advertisement announcing the opening of our Tynewydd Road office on 10 August 1987.
